What is SSO?
Single Sign-On (SSO) is a secure authentication method that allows users to log into multiple applications using just one set of login credentials. Instead of remembering separate usernames and passwords for each application you use, SSO enables you to sign in once and access everything through that same account. For example, if you use Google to log in, with SSO you can access College Pipe without needing to create a separate College Pipe username and password. You can use your existing Google account details to sign in seamlessly. |

Why is SSO Important for You?
- Convenience: With SSO, you only need to remember one password. This greatly simplifies the login process, especially if you use multiple platforms regularly. No more juggling different login details!
- Improved Data Security: Since SSO reduces the need for multiple passwords, it helps to reduce the risk of weak or reused passwords, which are common security vulnerabilities. SSO works by authenticating your identity securely through trusted providers (Google, Microsoft, or Zoho), making it much harder for unauthorized users to gain access to your data.
- Efficient Access Management: For organizations, SSO makes it easy to control who has access to specific applications. Admins can assign, manage, and revoke access quickly and efficiently. When a user leaves an organization, for example, their access to multiple applications (like College Pipe) can be disabled through a single SSO account.
- Streamlined User Experience: SSO simplifies your workflow by allowing you to move between platforms without having to log in multiple times. Once you're signed in with your SSO provider, you stay logged in across all connected applications, improving productivity and reducing interruptions.

How Does SSO Work on College Pipe?
We’ve added support for Google, Microsoft, and Zoho as SSO providers. You can now log into College Pipe with any of these accounts. Admins can also set a preferred SSO provider for each agency, ensuring all users can access College Pipe securely through one platform.
Once signed in, you’ll be able to see which provider you used to access your account, making it easy to manage and track your login preferences.
