I hope this email finds you well. I happy to inform you about our latest Software updates, which we released on Monday. Here's a brief overview of the changes.

Athletes Profile and Data


  • Athletic Profile - Golf Handicap: Going forward the golf handicap will be indicated with a "+" sign (instead of a minus as it used to be so far)
  • Adding Billing Information: We've added billing information to the "Athletes" Section, so that you can store more and more data about your athletes within Smarthlete.


Additional Email Features



Sending Tasks via Email
 
You might have noticed already, that there is a little message icon, whenever a task is assigned to an athlete. Through that feature you can send the tasks with the corresponding information to the athletes: 
  • Task Title 
  • Description 
  • Checklist 
  • Deadline 
Please note that the sender of the email will depend on whether you use the Email White-Label Add-On or not: 
  • Without Email White-Label: From info@smarthlete.com
  • With Email White-Label: From the recruiting expert's email address



Sending Test Emails

To ensure you know how your emails to coaches look like, you will be able to send test emails to yourself going forward. To do so, simply click on the three dots, next to the "Send Button". 


Improved Messaging Templates
We've added two "placeholder" fields, for the messaging templates:
  • University Name
  • Duolingo Score
By adding the University name when contacting a coach, you personalize your message even more.

Additionally, you are now able to insert YouTube or Vimeo links into the Messaging templates, without seeing the "video preview".



Tracking of Profile Views after sending out Emails
I am sure you are aware that you can see whether a coach opens a message/email you sent them or not (In case they opened it, the checkmarks are blue, if not they are grey) 

In addition to that feature, we are now able to show you, which coach looks at the profile through the email you sent. Whenever the coach clicks on "View Profile" through the email you sent, it will be marked in the athlete's Recruiting Insights.as "Seen by".
