June 2023 - Welcoming Students and Enhanced Personal Fit!

At Smarthlete, we have been hard at work improving our software to better cater to your needs, and we're thrilled to share some exciting new updates with you.

Welcoming All Students!

In our ongoing effort to expand our service offering and inclusivity, we're pleased to announce that we have now extended our platform to welcome students wishing to study in the US, independent of whether they would like to be student-athletes or not. This means that as a company, you may now add both student-athletes and general students to our system. Our aim is to support a broader range of talents and aspirations, helping even more students to find their perfect university match in the US.

Enhanced Personal Fit Calculation

We've made some changes to our Personal Fit algorithm to provide a more comprehensive and accurate measure of a student's compatibility with a university. Our updated Personal Fit now includes GPA (Grade Point Average), in addition to SAT/ACT scores, chosen Major, and Athletic Level (for student-athletes only). We believe that this enhancement will provide a more balanced perspective, considering both academic and athletic prowess where applicable, in determining the best-fit universities for each individual.

These two major updates have been implemented with the objective to provide you with a richer, more encompassing user experience. We are confident that they will empower you to serve your student base even more effectively.
